"Big Brother" fostered by the news medias disproportionate coverage
of cyber-crime leads to a high degree of mistrust by iGather clients.
Due to a high crossover between the cyber-geek and the rave communities,
it isn't long before the transmitter technology is co-opted. "Unauthorized"
iGather Raves are set up, with secret URL's used as a notification tool
so in the know attendee's can find out where iRave's are happening,
and what attendance is like.
