Woodcock Pair, 1979

A beautifully subtle use of color and design carried this carving
to top honors in the miniature class at the
Ward Foundation World Championship Carving Competition of 1979.
The leaves and buds on the sapling are hand carved by the artist.
This carving is on display at the Ward Foundation Museum
in Salisbury, MD.
