Red Right Return

Named after the motto used by sailors as they returned home reminding
them to keep the red buoys to the right of their boats, the title also pays
tribute to the Ospreys return from near extinction due to DDT. This carving is
the largest by Ernie, standing 5' tall, and carved from a 2' x 2' x 4.5' foot piece
of tupelo. This carving took 640 hours to complete, and is now in a
private collection.
